Senior Test Automation Engineer

Are you an experienced software tester looking for new challenges?

We have a well-run continuous integration setup for our award-winning web application, but our ambition is to get even better. We are in a period of rapid growth, and we remain on track to expand our customer base from the current 40,000+ to 100,000 by 2013.

Our customers require high-quality software, and your job is to raise the bar in terms of web application testing to meet their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Automate software tests on the entire e-conomic software platform
  • Use tools such as TeamCity to automate the build process, NUnit for unit testing .NET code, QUnit for JavaScript unit testing, and Selenium for UI end-to-end testing
  • Implement appropriate testing metrics for our product and teams
  • Plan, deploy and supervise software testing for all releases
  • Manage testing assets, including people, tools and processes
  • Create and write tests
  • Proactively implement new and smarter testing tools when relevant

Requirements

  • Solid expertise as a software tester and test engineer, possibly including a couple of years of experience as a test manager
  • A keen sense of how web application testing should be conducted
  • An outgoing, ambitious personality with excellent people skills

We use SCRUM as our software development methodology, and all testing activities will be incorporated into this flow, so experience with SCRUM is a plus.

Moreover, we wish to further improve our DevOps ambitions to align development, operations and customers through continuous integration and continuous deployment, so DevOps experience is indeed an advantage.
