e-conomic in different languages

Do you prefer working with your company accounts in a language other than English? Or does your company employ staff of different nationalities who would benefit from working in another language?

Luckily for you, the e-conomic accounting software is a multilingual application that allows you to change the interface language of the application into any of the languages represented in e-conomic.

How will this change affect the software?

When changing the language of the interface, only the language of the user interface is changed – e.g. all the system functions will change to the language selected.

If you have several users on your account and one wishes to work in another language, only the interface language of that specific account will change, and no other user accounts will be affected. In this way, each of your company users can work in the language they prefer.

How do I change the interface language?

The interface language in e-conomic can be changed quickly and easily.

On the “Settings” tab, you simply select “Users”. In here, you can edit the “Language” field to one of eight different languages: English, German, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, French, Polish, or Spanish.

Multicurrency functionality

In addition to multilingual functionality, e-conomic also supports accounting in multiple currencies. When you start using e-conomic, you can apply the base currency that your company primarily does business in.

Note: You cannot change the base currency of your application after you have entered financial information into e-conomic. So make sure you change your base currency first.

Furthermore, you can receive payments from and send invoices to international customers and suppliers in other currencies than your base currency. The currencies in e-conomic are updated daily (during the evening) by XE.com for a number of exchange rates
