Since 2001, GeniTime has developed and marketed GeniTime
time/case management, which allows you to send tasks and messages to your employees.
And conversely – it makes it easy for your employees to report when a job is done and how much time was spent, entirely without the use of work sheets or other papers.
Using a private log-in, the customer can order a service, which is approved by the administration and then forwarded to the unit performing the service.
What is GeniTime?
GeniTime is based on an electronic order and reporting system, in which the entered hours, materials etc. are automatically imported into the accounting software. Without spending time on typing in the figures.
What are the benefits of GeniTime?
- GeniTime not only saves you time on paperwork, but makes sure your customers are invoiced for all hours spent. Additional sales and materials are added to the task, thus ensuring that nothing is lost - everything is re-invoiced. This secures a high service level for the customer as he knows whether the job in question is invoiced or ongoing (you can read more about pro forma invoices in our glossary).
- GeniTime also saves a lot of time on administration. Neither weekly notes nor work sheets need to be forwarded by hand because everybody has access to the same system with private log-ins and rights via WEB, WAP and PDA.
- As an estimate of how much you can save, you should calculate that GeniTime saves you approximately 1 full time accounting employee in a company with 20-30 employees.
- The payback time for GeniTime is usually less than a year! With very few resources, you can get started with GeniTime.
- GeniTime offers several flexible solutions. If you start out with GeniTime Light, you can always add the standard version and our add-on products. Moreover, we offer both hosting and local systems - entirely as you prefer.
- We offer your customers documentation and a high service level in the form of a customer log-in that gives access to relevant information about the status of tasks etc., reports and other documentation on finalized tasks. You also have the possibility to store relevant documents via an FTP access underneath the respective customers.
What does GeniTime cost?
The price for GeniTime is calculated individually on the basis of your company's needs.
A small trades company with five employees pays a lump sum of approx $1080 (USD) and hereafter a monthly subscription fee of $85.
The lump sum covers the GeniTime standard system, education of your employees, administration, subscription for the first month, installation and hotline.

Without doubt, we save time and money on administration enabling us to make more service jobs than earlier.
Another advantage is that we can track the jobs and rearrange them. If we have a technician located in an outlying district and a job turns up in the same district, we can send the job to the technician right away.
Previously, when we couldn't track the technicians, the incoming job would have waited until the next time we needed to go to the outlying district - to the inconvenience of the customer as well as the company.
The solution has furthermore had an unexpected, positive side effect – the job satisfaction of our technicians has increased as they also experience less wasted time on the road.
Receiving ongoing status reports is an enormous advantage for the way we work. The program has also ensured us a much better overview in the planning stage, thus saving us a lot of time.
