More and more farmers are using online bookkeeping
According to the Danish accountancy firm Nordland Revision, 20% of Danish farmers now use e-conomic. These farmers have realized how easy and flexible it is to use e-conomic accounting software, and since everything is online, Nordland Revision can easily help the farmers right away if they run into any problems.
"In a close dialogue with us, more and more farmers have realized that online bookkeeping is an easy way to work together with their accountant. All facilities are available online, and everything is gathered in one place so that both we and the farmers have access to the system everywhere, as long as there is access to the Internet."
"If the farmers are having trouble with invoicing or bookkeeping, we can help them right away as we can enter the system and look at the problem together with the customer," says accountant Lotte Larsen from Nordland Revision.
An optimal solution for farmers
During the last two years, the number of farmers using e-conomic has doubled - and this number is still growing.
"Since we developed adjustments to the e-conomic software with specific focus on the needs of farmers a few years ago, things have been moving fast.
Many farmers wish to do their own bookkeeping, so we mostly function as supervisors. This way, the accounts become more precise, since the farmers know better than we on what and where the money has been spent. The result is more precise bookkeeping.
I should add though that we don't allow the farmers to do their own bookkeeping until we are certain that they can do it correctly. This way, we avoid many errors," explains Lotte Larsen.

A solution for anyone
This great approval from farmers tells how wide e-conomic spans. e-conomic accounting software can be used by most companies and can be adapted to anyone from farmers to craftsmen to hairdressers. With the many integration solutions available, customers can build on e-conomic's basic module to tailor it to the specific company.
