A wide range of new functionality and system improvements was released this morning

Small/Standard improvements

  • Previously, when emailing invoices and other documents from e-conomic, a “You can get Adobe Reader here” message would appear. This message has been removed, as all computers today come with a PDF reader.
  • When booking day books, the date interval selection now shows dates without verbal month name references.
  • The customer and supplier balance list and the supplier ledger card report now include each customer's or supplier’s company registration number. (Note: this is not supported in the customer ledger card report at this time – only the supplier ledger card report.)

Improvements to the Bank Integration

  • When exporting supplier payments, you can now consolidate multiple payments of the same supplier and date automatically. This is important for companies that pay many small invoices to the same supplier and are billed a fee for each of these individual payments.

New local functionality

All
  • The national Report Designer has been changed so that instead of seeing just a single “Other reports” link, you now find a direct link to each report in the left menu.

Denmark
  • The VAT statement now shows proper national characters when viewed in Excel.

Denmark and Germany
  • Partial invoicing (abschlagsrechnung) is now available. When you select this function on the order editing screen, you can easily transfer orders to invoices ‘in parts’. Eventually when you upgrade the entire order to an invoice, any previously created partial invoices will automatically be accounted for on the final invoice.

Germany
  • The recently added company master information fields for “Amtsgericht”, “Geschäftsführer” and “Vorstandsvorsitzende” are now also available as merge fields in the invoice layout.
  • The “Digitally signed” option when e-mailing invoices has been removed, as it is incompatible with the recently added ‘Invoice validation’ functionality.

Spain
  • The Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports have been removed since you can now generate reports through the Spanish Report Designer.
