A successful hardware update

Over the weekend, we updated our hardware and the e-conomic system

This past weekend, we made a number of major changes to our core system in order to create a more stable, efficient and reliable e-conomic application.

After weeks of preparation and testing, we are happy to report that this major system update was a success.

Our team completed the necessary upgrades in less than 24 hours – shaving more than 16 hours off of their expected work time, and getting the e-conomic application back online as quickly and efficiently as possible.

A complete system upgrade

The many upgrades that we accomplished this weekend included:

  • Replacing our physical hardware – servers, storage and network components
  • Upgrading the operation system
  • Upgrading the database system
  • Migration of the application to a dual-site model
