e-conomic wins the Nordic Trade and Investment Business Award 2010 in the UK as Best Nordic Newcomer.
e-conomic received the award at the London Stock Exchange, and CEO Torben Frigaard Rasmussen promises even more growth in 2010.
- We entered the British market in 2007, and we are now the largest provider of online accounting systems in the UK. Over the last year, we've had a 60 percent growth rate in the British market alone, and we expect this to continue in 2010, says Torben Frigaard Rasmussen.
Collaborating with accountancy firms
According to Torben Frigaard Rasmussen, the key to success is understanding the market and knowing how the market will benefit most from your product. To achieve this, e-conomic works closely together with accountancy firms who have really discovered how online accounting can help them achieve more efficiency and and a more dynamic customer approach.
- Online accounting provides accountants with new opportunities for collaboration and optimizes their resources. A case in point is our collaboration with two of the largest accountancy firms in the UK around software development. And when accountancy firms realize the benefits of online accounting, they recommend the system to their customers. Also, we see that newly started businesses have become more focused on finding cheaper and more efficient solutions, says Torben Frigaard Rasmussen.
The largest Danish provider of online accounting systems for small and medium businesses, e-conomic is headquartered in Copenhagen and employs 60 people. Today, the company has more than 23,000 customers.
