As a world first, the 28,000 small and medium businesses that are using the e-conomic online accounting system can now download a free iPhone app which is fully integrated with the accounting system.
Companies and business owners can create quotes or send invoices from their mobile phones while they are with the customer, thus saving time and avoiding extra work back at their office. Danish Telecommunications company 3 is also targeting the business market with apps that add real value to companies' daily dealings.
- The user interface is so simple that everyone can find their way around. And since the new app is part of Apple's intuitive universe, everyone can figure out how to create customers, create and send invoices and book their entries. Everything you do on your iPhone is recorded in the e-conomic system, which is very unique, says CEO Torben Frigaard Rasmussen.
Explosive growth
According to Torben Frigaard Rasmussen, the major benefit for small businesses and business owners is that the app will allow them to save time as they will always have their accounting system with them, giving them access to key figures around the clock.
- Additionally, they can eliminate extra work by finalizing quotes and invoices while they are with their customers. Companies have repeatedly requested a solution like this, so we are expecting an explosive growth in the use of e-conomic on iPhones, reveals Torben Frigaard Rasmussen.
Start up your business using your iPhone
To Torben Frigaard Rasmussen, it is central that everything you do on your iPhone is recorded directly in the e-conomic system.
- Say you are starting up your own business, and you spend a lot of time on the move and with customers – in principle, all you need while you are starting up is an iPhone and the free e-conomic app, says Torben Frigaard Rasmussen.
