Send your e-conomic API invoices via MobilePay Invoice

Recently, we introduced the ability to send invoices from within the e-conomic web application via MobilePay Invoice.

Right from the beginning, we received multiple requests asking for the support of this functionality via the API – and now it’s here!

We are happy to announce that the e-conomic REST API now allows you to send invoices directly to customers’ MobilePay app.

Using the MobilePay integration you can request payment from within your own UI, deliver it to the customer and book the invoice in e-conomic at the same time – giving you a very smooth and convenient workflow.

Closer collaboration with partners

At e-conomic we have always emphasized listening to the input and needs of our users. In the API team, we have now decided to take that approach even further and actually involve external partners in the planning and development process.

For the MobilePay Invoice project mentioned above we partnered up with FTZ, one of the partners requesting this feature, and defined requirements together with them.

After that, we actually did parallel development with them and even coordinated the rollout and entire marketing campaign around the new feature.

Currently, we're working on building a new /journals endpoint in REST. For this project, we have teamed up with five different partners who have each provided valuable input to what this endpoint should include.

If you're interested in collaborating with us, please contact the API Team and let us figure out how we can collaborate and help each other going forward.

Feedback still wanted

As mentioned in our last newsletter, we want to do an overhaul of our developer resources - website, blog, forum, etc.

Before we start this, we would like to ask your help by letting us know which areas you would like us to improve. Thanks in advance!
